It was working fine when I removed it and will VERY likely work if you install but won't GUARANTEE that work, that's why listed for parts only. There are two keys included as well that do work in the lock. All parts are there except the strike plate for door jamb and little silver insert a smaller install hole. In most cases that part is not needed, at least i've never needed it for any door locks ever installed.

Kwikset 911 SmartCode Venetian Bronze Keypad Electronic Door Lever Parts Only. I went with a different brand so took this one out. Also, I don't have any instructions.
